We have been retained to conduct a Search campaign by a leading producer and supplier of quality chilled products to both UK and Eurpoean markets. Part of a major international food group, the Company produces a growing range of ready to cook, ready to eat and added value chilled products .
A key part of the businesses strategy is to drive sales volume growth through expanding the current customer portfolio within both the UK and International markets. In order to support this strategy there is now a business need to appoint a high calibre Sales Director with overall responsibility for the Sales & NPD functions.
As Sales Director you will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities and driving growth across all business activities. This will be achieved through continuing to develop new and innovative products that match current consumer trends, whilst continually managing and developing the relationship between its customers, at all levels, with the aim of building a long-term, growing and profitable business.
You will be responsible for leading the Sales and NPD teams, providing direction and support and ensuring the department’s resources and skills are organised and developed to meet changing business needs as well as ensuring that the business achieves, at a minimum its sales budget. A pre-requisite of the role is the ability to communicate effectively as well as being able to use planning and organisational skills to drive success and forward development. Already an established commercial leader and developer of people and skills, you will be passionate about relationships and strive for maximum customer satisfaction.
